Everyday Math and Kathy Richardson's Program are two math tool we use to teach kindergarten math skills. Although there are many skills that we work on, the following are skills you can work with your child on at home!

 

Number Recognition 0-100+

Counting 0-110+

Counting by 10's, and 5's to 100+

Counting by 2's to 30+

Counting backwards from 20-0

Counting objects

Naming 2D and 3D shapes

Patterns (AB, AAB, ABC) (Growing & Shrinking)

Coins- Names and Values

Subitizing- Seeing groups within pictures

Simple adding and subtracting with manipulative. 

Changing Numbers with manipulative (I have 6 change it to 8 or I have 4 change it to 2)

      Missing addend: 6+__=8

      Missing subtrahend: 5-__=3
